The challenge: The BBC asked us to re-brand its intranet and to develop templates and guidelines that would enable new internally-facing sites to be rolled out.
The core challenge was to deliver a consistent and user-friendly user experience while allowing the creativity at the core of BBC values to flourish.
Methods: We identified three key brand values and created visual themes around each one.
We developed these themes into a large number of simple but appealing templates.
Results: The templates were sufficiently flexible to evoke their own unique personalities while preserving the wider BBC intranet brand.
